Semaine 19 – Au revoir Sydney
Suite de notre série préférée : il faut adopter bébé hypo. Rebondissement, déceptions, espoirs ... ce n'est pas tous les jours facile et nous sommes toujours coincés à Sydney, vous me direz il y a pire. Finalement l'histoire se finie bien, nous décollons pour une nouvelle île : la Nouvelle Zélande
Semaine 18 – Sydney 2ieme partie
La famille apprécie la nature, la faune australienne, la ville. Célébré noël en tongue n'est pas vraiment courant pour nous, a cette époque nous sommes plutôt sur les pistes de skis. Cette semaine est la dernière de l'année. Sydney se prépare a ses festivités diffusé partout dans le monde. Bonne année a tous et faites votre marque !
Week 18 Goodbye 2010, Hello 2011
The last week of 2010, we spent it visiting the Blue Mountains, enjoying feeding kangaroos at Featherdale Wildlife Park and looking for the perfect spot to what the fireworks. We listen to the music that played in time with the fire works as we wished Sydney and the rest of the world a Happy New year. We watched surfers have fun in the waves at Manly and said goodbye to Fred’s family at the airport.

Week 17 Christmas time in Sydney
25°, the sun is shinning, the birds are singing, its Christmas time in Sydney. We spent this week showing the sights and sounds of Sydney to Fred’s family and preparing for Christmas. The family photo this year was taken outside in the sunshine instead of inside wearing warm clothes and watching the snow fall. We visited Sydney Aquarium, the Sydney wildlife, went hunting for original UGG’s and a hat made from Kangaroo leather. We had BBQ’s and watched the surfers catch some waves at Bondi Beach.
Semaine 17 – Sydney 1iere partie
Nous nous sommes reconvertis en guide touristiques le temps de 2 semaines. Nous ne connaissons pas la ville plus que cela, mais nous commençons à bien connaitre les coutumes australiennes. Sydney c'est une ville, des plages, une baie, des kangourous ... bref c'est une ville pas tellement comme les autres. Je pense que ce noël restera gravé pour longtemps dans les mémoires de mes proches. Joyeux noël à tous !
Week 16 The Subtropics
The Subtropics of Australia is a wonderful place, about 500km north of Sydney we spent most of this week enjoying the warm tropical weather, eating fresh fish, visiting Coffs Harbour, the town that is supposed to have the best weather in the world. We slid down the giant slide at the Big Banana, visited the Koala hospital and went kayaking on the Bongil Bongil River in the national park. We saw bush turkeys and black and red snakes. The week ended with us picking up Fred’s family from the airport Australian style.
Semaine 16 – les tropiques
Ce passage à Sydney fut bref mais intense. Avant les fêtes de noël, Nat et moi allons passer une petite semaine vers les tropiques, vers le "nord". La végétation et le climat changent, les australiens sont toujours aussi sympa, la "rain forest" fut un passage obligatoire et merveilleux. Sport, détente, nature, rencontre, histoire ... avant de retourner à Sydney accueillir la famille et se poser dans un appartement pour 2 semaines.
Week 15 How much can you do in a week?
We started the week in the countries purpose built capital, Canberra. Where we visited the Australian national museum and Capital Hill, where we learned more about the history of this young and vibrant nation. We then drove up into the Snowy Mountains, where we visited caves by ourselves, swam in a natural spring thermal swimming pool that is always 27°. We were surprised to see kangaroos watching us as we swam and wild horses running free. We then headed to Sydney where we were part of the crowd for U2’s concert.
Semaine 15 – Canberra et les montagnes neigeuses
Canberra est le plus petit état de l'Australie. Malgré sa taille il mérite le détour. La ville est très original, administrative et pas très funky, cependant il y règne une bonne atmosphère. La seconde moitié de la semaine se passe dans la nature, les snowy mountains. Une nouvelle fois l'Australie sait nous surprendre avec ses paysages sublimes, sa nature sauvage et ses grands espaces qui la caractérise.
